How concrete is priced in Stockton
Concrete is priced by the square foot, and the rate moves with a handful of factors: the size of the pour, slab thickness, how much base prep the site needs, reinforcement, the finish, and whether old concrete has to come out first. Access matters too. An open front yard is faster to form and pour than a tight side yard we can only reach with a wheelbarrow.
These are the typical installed ranges the calculator uses:
| Project | Standard finish | Decorative finish |
|---|---|---|
| Driveway | $6–$12 / sq ft | $11–$17 / sq ft |
| Patio | $8–$14 / sq ft | $14–$22 / sq ft |
| Sidewalk / walkway | $5–$11 / sq ft | $7–$18 / sq ft |
| Pool deck | $7–$14 / sq ft | $11–$19 / sq ft |
| Slab or pad | $6–$12 / sq ft | n/a |
| Parking lot | $4–$9 / sq ft | n/a |
Stockton's expansive clay soil and hot summers are why we never skip a compacted base, reinforcement and managed curing, and those are built into every range above.
